Thank you for this year, for all your love and details and don’t forget us. We will miss you a lot. Tell us about you and your things. We will be waiting for you.
A kiss for everyone

I think we all will write in this blog, because it's a great idea and because we are friends since we were 3 years old, and we don't want to stop talking after high school.
We are working hard to get good marks in selectividad, so I want to think we will get them!
Thank you for this year of learning and good songs! (we are sometimes singing 'dancing queen' or 'mamma mia' together!)
ByeByeMorato (Laura González García 2ºB, 2008-09)
I will always remember one day students went out playing with the snow.
And I will never forget teachers that taught us how to be good persons. I admire them.
I am very pleased with this school because here I met my best friends. I feel sas I have to leave because I feel very comfortable here.
Now teachers tell us "you are ready to go to University", but I am scared. I am not scared to go to university, I am scared to miss the contact with my friends. Although I know that if they are my friends, I'll meet them frequently. My friend Paloma Gómez, always tells me that we will meet at a Chinesse restaurant, and we start to laugh...
I am happy to have been in this high school because here there are very nice people.
Bye Bye Morato!"

Hello Rocio Ponce and family! (Senior Year 1996)
I met Rocio and her beautiful family yesterday at the Fiestas del Amorós. Many of you will remember the days when this place belonged to all the neighbourhood, at least to those of us living in the surroundings of this school. Visit this blog if you'd like to know... ByeByeAmoros.blogspot.com
I had already met Rocio at Aguacate while visiting doctors, and she was pregnant and aleady a busy mom of twins!. Then she told me to say hello to ALL THE TEACHERS back at García Morato. She keeps a very good memory of all of us.
Thank you Rocio, we also remember you dearly!

"Bookends" 2009
Time it was, and what a time it was, it was
A time of innocence, a time of confidences
Long ago, it must be, I have a photograph
Preserve your memories; They're all that's left you
Old Friends 2009
Old friends
Old friends
Sat on their park bench
Like bookends
A newspaper blown through the grass
Falls on the round toes
Of the high shoes
Of the old friends
Old friends
Winter companions
The old men
Lost in their overcoats
Waiting for the sunset
The sounds of the city
Sifting through the trees
Settle like dust
On the shoulders
Of the old friends
Can you imagine us years from today
Sharing a park bench quietly?
How terribly strange to be seventy
Old friends
Memory brushes the same years
Silently sharing the same fear...
A time of innocence, a time of confidences
Long ago, it must be, I have a photograph
Preserve your memories; They're all that's left you

Surprise, Surprise! ...... Old Morato Students!
What a wonderful coincidence!
Daniel Ballesteros and Francisco Javier Toro
were at the same restaurant while we were having dinner.
They promised to come to the High School again and have a coffee. Hope they do, and tell us about how they remember us after all these years, more than ten....(I will have to check my files!)

Bye Bye Morato (Paloma Gómez del Tronco 2ºB, 2008-09)
I have spent the last six years of my life studying at García Morato High School, and I am very proud of it. My mother always tells me that the best thing I can do is learning and having fun. And that is exactly what I have been doing in this High School. I have been taught by some of the best teachers ever in my opinion, and I feel that this High School is my second home, and people who I see here everyday are my second family.
If I could start studying today, I wouldn't do it in any other place but García Morato High School. I wish I would have told all of my teachers how important they have been to me, but they are very clever, so I think that they all know it.
And I will never forget the support of my family and teachers, who have been trying to help me, and the great food made by our dear Maruja!

Goodbye Students Year 2009
You are the best our High School has. Teachers have spent hours talking to you and about you.
I would like you to be more than a memory. Why don’t you share some of your thoughts about the time you spent here with us? They may be useful to future students here in our/your blog:
“ByeByeMorato. blogspot.com”
I wish you all the best from now on. Come to see us sometime. It is always a pleasure to see you have grown up into such fine adults, and feel we are proud we were your teachers.
Good Night and Good Luck.
Yours always,
Paloma Barrancos Lillo

One Year went by...so fast!
"I have an idea. I will share it with you very soon.
Exams are here, stress too.
Can you think about the good times at Morato High School?
Share them, laugh at them...just get rid of your bad mood.
The rest of the students may sing a song for you.
Maybe ABBA was this year's tune?
Which melody would you choose?
Vote here if you think this idea is good!"
Dancing Queen
Crazy
Mamma Mia
Pretty Woman
The Condor
Thank you for the music
